I too think that the Supremes will vote to strike down the ACA in it’s entirety. Not sure what the split will be, though. IMO, the Supremes should not have taken this case, I don’t see the constitutional problem with the law as it’s written. The Feds, States, and local governments already require a mass of things of the citizenry with penalties imposed for those who refuse to comply. Not that I agree with every part of the law. But national health care for everyone, in some form, is needed. As for the penalties for not getting health insurance as required by the law, the way I understand it is there is no real penalty for non-compliance. As for Carville, I’m usually a fan, but that comment was not well thought out, to say the least.
